Author Alerts

You can keep up with new releases from your favorite authors using the free Author Alerts service. This allows you to receive emails or text messages any time any library in our network adds a new work by these authors, so you can get on the wait list early. Please note: because this service is computerized, it doesn't distinguish between truly NEW titles and repeat titles that are being issued in an additional format or new edition.

New Release Room

Browse new items easily at the library! We keep new books, magazines, and DVDs on display in the new release room of the library. For music CDs, audiobooks, and mass market paperbacks (shelved on the spinning display), new additions are interfiled but distinguished with a round sticker indicating either the month and year added (for media) or a round sticker labeled "New Book" for paperbacks. The YA/teen and children's collections also have designated areas where new books are shelved.
