The Children’s Room offers books and programs for children ages birth to 12 years old, as well as their parents and caregivers. We also offer special services for teachers and homeschoolers.
Our Collection
Our collection offers a wide variety for every reading level. We have board books, magazines, DVDs, music CDs, and non-fiction resources for ALL AGES in our Children’s Room. We also have a Parent Collection to answer parenting questions.
We also have a Parents Shelf with materials to help you get from infanthood to the teenage years smoothly! You can also find information on local babysitters, daycares and more in our community information binder.
Our Programs
The children’s room staff is dedicated to promoting early literacy. Children who are introduced to books, music and other forms of language before they enter school are known to be more successful in the classroom. Our storytimes and babytimes will help introduce your child to different forms of literacy.
For school age children we also offer special programming through out the year, including school vacation activities and a summer reading program. Please check back offer to see what new programs we offer!
